Cristen Cox, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC Cristen began her nursing career at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital in 2009. She practiced there for 10 years before graduating from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with her Master of Science in Nursing. She is certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Pediatric Primary Care. Cristen cares for children from birth through adolescence. She strives to take a family centered approach when caring for her pediatric patients, taking extra care that all of their needs are met. Her clinical interests include newborn care, breastfeeding support, toddler development, healthy habits, preventative health care, and adolescent care and development. In her free time, she enjoys watching baseball and spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons.
