Chief Clinical Operations Officer
Levonda has been in healthcare for over 20 years as a nurse and in administrative positions. Since 2010 her career has been with Heart of Florida Health Center in various roles within the organization, which has afforded her a vast knowledge of clinical and operations of FQHC’s. She has been instrumental in the opening of all of HFHC’s 9 locations and most recently the Program Manager of the COVID-19 vaccine and monoclonal antibody program (2020).
Levonda has her Master’s in healthcare administration, is a certified as part of the Council of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, giving her a thorough understanding of define measures, analysis, and an improve and control model.
Levonda is a Marion County native and dedicated to accessible and affordable healthcare for all that live in Marion County. During her free time Levonda loves traveling and spending time with her family, especially her 2 beautiful grandchildren.
HFHC received HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
This entity receives HRSA Health Center Program grant funding under 42 U.S.C. § 254b and has been deemed a Public Health Service employee for purposes of certain liability protections, including Federal Tort Claims Act coverage, under 42 U.S.C. § 233(g)-(n).
