PRESS RELEASE: Heart of Florida Health Center Awarded $90K “Quality Leader”

Ocala, FL, September 17, 2019 – Heart of Florida Health Center, has been recognized and awarded $90,000 from Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA), a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), for displaying the highest levels of quality performance in the 2018 Calendar Year. 

Heart of Florida Health Center (HFHC), the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Marion County, for the second consecutive year has been recognized as one of the awardees in the state of Florida. 

This one-time grant provides recognition and support for health centers that displayed high levels of quality performance in Calendar Year 2018 Uniform Data System (UDS) reporting and health centers with one or more sites with continued patient centered medical home recognition (PCMH). HFHC is Level III PCMH status awarded from the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
