HFHC Expands to Sumter County with New Location

Ocala, FL, May 2, 2023 – Heart of Florida Health Center (HFHC) is pleased to announce its expansion to Sumter County, opening a new Primary Medical Care and Pharmacy Location in The Villages.
This will be HFHC’s ninth Primary Care office and its fourth in-house low-cost Pharmacy, which also includes a drive-thru pharmacy.

My vision is to have a positive community impact that will improve the lives of those we serve through community partnerships, collaborations, and synergies providing excellent affordable healthcare.” said Matt Clay, Chief Executive Officer.

This project is part of our Board of Director’s strategic vision to continue growing and meet the ever-increasing needs of our communities. HFHC will be partnering with the Veterans of America by sharing space for a Vet Center, providing behavioral and mental health services with the benefit of providing Primary Medical Care and Pharmacy services for Veterans and their families.

“HFHC strives to enhance health care access based on coordination with our partners,” states Maria Torres, Chief Operations Officer. “The Villages is a testament to a need recognized and proposed to us to fulfill due to our reputation. We are excited to step up for this community,” said Torres.

The estimated opening date is Fall 2023, with a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
