Heart of Florida Health Center (HFHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing primary healthcare services to individuals and families in Marion County. We are committed to improving the overall health status of Marion County residents by providing quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services, medication assistance and specialty referrals in seven locations throughout the county.

HFHC received HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

This entity receives HRSA Health Center Program grant funding under 42 U.S.C. § 254b and has been deemed a Public Health Service employee for purposes of certain liability protections, including Federal Tort Claims Act coverage, under 42 U.S.C. § 233(g)-(n).

HFHC is a 501c3 charitable organization and is registered with the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services under #CH27115.
