Dr. Bozena Zaleska Munguba is a proud graduate of the “Gator Nation”. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences at University of Florida, (2006), then continued her studies to obtain Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from University of Florida, College of Dentistry (2010). She enhanced her skills at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at the Miami Veterans Affairs Healthcare System serving as a dentist and patient advocate for our veterans. Pursuing her passion for increasing access to quality patient care for the community, Dr. Munguba continued her career taking care of diverse intercity and migrant communities in Cleveland, Ohio, as well as various cities throughout Central and South Florida. She is fluent in English, Polish, and Portuguese, and can communicate in Spanish language.
Dr. Munguba values family time and spends it gardening, exploring nature and historical sights with her husband, Gustavo, and two children, Bella and Logan. She enjoys taking care of animals, including her dog, Luna, and baby chickens: Charlie, Chuckles, and Cool. For personal strength and growth, Dr. Munguba enjoys walking, practicing yoga and meditation, as well as investing into learning about the best dental practices and developing leadership skills based on trust and good communication.
In her role as the Chief Dental Officer, Dr. Munguba aims to support her dental team in providing exceptional patient experience for children, adults, and elderly of the Marion County and surrounding communities.
As a dentist member of the executive team, she aims to support the organization’s goal of making Heart of Florida Health Center the First Choice for Quality and Caring Dental Care for All.
