With over 25 years of experience in healthcare, Corey has dedicated his career to improving patient outcomes, ensuring regulatory excellence, and guiding healthcare organizations through an increasingly complex landscape. Beginning as a critical care registered nurse, Corey witnessed firsthand the challenges patients and providers face in delivering safe, high-quality care. His passion for quality improvement and healthcare compliance led him to transition into clinical analytics, where he gained a deep appreciation for how data integration can drive meaningful change.
Certified in Lean Six Sigma and Healthcare Quality, Corey leveraged his expertise as a healthcare consultant and Chief Quality Officer, helping organizations enhance performance, optimize processes, and maintain compliance with industry standards. Before joining Heart of Florida Health Center in 2024, he served as Director of Quality at HCA, overseeing quality initiatives across a major health system.
Now at Heart of Florida, Corey is focused on ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care while helping them navigate today’s challenging healthcare environment. His dedication to data-driven improvement, regulatory excellence, and patient-centered care continues to strengthen healthcare delivery in the community we serve together.
