PRESS RELEASE: Heart of Florida Health Center Successful In Operational Inspection
Ocala, FL, May 15, 2018 – Heart of Florida Health Center, (HFHC) received high marks from the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA), a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), for demonstrating proficient compliance with program requirements of their recent Operational Site Visit (OSV).
HFHC was reviewed in 91 different areas and scored 97% based on (5) Main Categories: Governance, Management and Administration, Fiscal, Clinical, and an Other Category (Needs Assessment, Staffing, Sliding Fee Scale, Quality Improvement, and Data Reporting).
“Operational Site Reviews are crucial in Heart of Florida Health Center’s continued funding as a Federally Qualified Health Center. (HFHC) said, Jamie Ulmer, CEO.
“I would like to acknowledge and commend our Executive Team for their leadership on this achievement. As well as, all of the HFHC team for their continued focus on providing the highest quality of care for all of Marion County residents; no matter their ability to pay.” Jamie Ulmer, CEO added.
The HRSA Operational Site Visits are conducted every 3 years.
