Dr. Jose E. Turell Robles, MD is a bilingual Primary Care Physician with extensive experience providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients. He focuses on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, men’s health, and outpatient primary care while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Turell earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Health Sciences Antigua and completed his clinical internship at Hospital Menonita in Guayama, Puerto Rico. Before becoming a physician, he served as a Registered Nurse, nurse leader, and medical assistant, providing him with a unique perspective on collaborative, patient-centered healthcare.
His clinical expertise includes preventive medicine, the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic medical conditions, testosterone replacement therapy, musculoskeletal procedures including corticosteroid knee injections, interpretation of diagnostic studies, and evidence-based treatment planning. He is committed to helping patients achieve long-term wellness through education, prevention, and personalized care.
Licensed to practice medicine in both Florida and Puerto Rico, Dr. Turell is known for his strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and ability to build lasting relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is dedicated to improving healthcare accessibility and providing culturally competent care to every patient.
