Dr. Christian Lopez Muñoz is a bilingual physician fluent in English and Spanish. Originally from Puerto Rico, he earned his medical degree from Iberoamerican University and completed his postgraduate medical training at Auxilio Mutuo Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is licensed to practice medicine in both Florida and Puerto Rico.

Prior to joining Heart of Florida Health Center, Dr. Lopez Muñoz provided primary care to patients in Citrus County. His diverse professional background also includes teaching Anatomy and Physiology and Biology at Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, Kean University in New Jersey, and Middlesex College in New Jersey. Before beginning his career in medicine and education, he also served as a police officer in Puerto Rico.

Dr. Lopez Muñoz moved from Puerto Rico to New Jersey in 2017 and relocated to Florida in 2023. His varied experiences in healthcare, education, and public service have shaped his commitment to serving and connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Lopez Muñoz enjoys staying active through Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts. He also competes in jiu-jitsu whenever the opportunity arises.
