Kathy Beecher, MAcc, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Kathryn M. Beecher, CPA, brings more than 25 years of executive financial leadership in federally qualified health centers, nonprofit healthcare, and complex multi-entity organizations. Originally from Syracuse, New York, Kathryn holds a Master of Accountancy from Stetson University and is a New York State Certified Public Accountant. She provides strategic oversight of financial operations, regulatory compliance, revenue cycle management, grants administration, and long-term financial planning.

Kathryn is known as a transformational, collaborative leader who believes strong financial stewardship is essential to advancing community health. Throughout her career, she has strengthened internal controls, improved revenue performance, reduced denials and aging receivables, and guided organizations through periods of growth and change. Kathryn is deeply committed to ensuring financial resources are aligned with patient care, staff support, and long-term impact—helping FQHCs expand access, sustain services, and improve health outcomes for the communities they serve.

Outside of working at Heart of Florida, Kathryn enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys spending time outside gardening, walking and listening to live music.
