Optometrist

We are seeking a qualified, licensed optometrist to provide outpatient comprehensive optometric primary care service including preventative and health maintenance services, acute and chronic care, clinical evaluation , diagnosis and treatment as well as primary optometric care consultation services.
Duties:
– Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect any ocular abnormalities or diseases.
– Prescribe corrective lenses or other vision aids as necessary.
– Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
– Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
– Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
– Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient examinations, diagnoses, and treatments.
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists and opticians, to provide coordinated patient care.
– Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry through continuing education and professional development.
Experience:
– Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school.
– Valid state license to practice optometry.
– Strong clinical skills and knowledge of ocular diseases and conditions.
– Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as Epic.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts to patients in a clear and understandable manner.
– Bilingual applicants highly encouraged
