Our MISSION is to improve the overall health status of Marion County residents by providing quality primary medical, dental and mental health services to all residents, but in particular to those residents who would not otherwise be able to access these services due to financial limitation and/or lack of health insurance.
Our VISION is to be the provider of the highest quality, affordable, patient-centered primary health care in Marion County.
Who Do You Serve?
Heart of Florida Health Center provides quality primary medical, pediatric dental and psychiatric/mental health services to all Marion County residents, but in particular to those residents who would not otherwise be able to access these services due to financial limitations and/or lack of health insurance.
What Does A Visit To Florida Health Care Center Cost?
The minimum charge for a visit at Heart of Florida Health Center is between $15 and $50. All charges for services rendered are discounted on a sliding fee scale according to your household income based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines, which are updated annually by the federal government. We also accept Medicare, Medicaid, Medipass and BlueCross BlueShield and will continue to pursue participation with other major insurance carriers in the area.
Where Can I Go To Get Treatment?
Our newly renovated center is located on the Ocala S-Curve at 1025 SW 1st Avenue and is accessible by bus on the Orange SunTran Route. Additional Locations are also available throughout Marion County. Please Click Here to locate the nearest one!
